This policy concerns cookies and similar storage or access technologies in connection with boostexltd.shop, operated by BOOSTEX LTD. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What these technologies do
Cookies store small amounts of information in a browser. Local storage, pixels and other technologies may also store or access information on a device. Their privacy effects depend on the purpose, information collected, duration and parties with access. A device identifier can involve personal information even without your name.
Session storage usually relates to a visit. Persistent storage can remain after the browser closes. Browser storage is only part of the picture: removing a cookie does not automatically delete associated records held by a provider.
Shopping functions and privacy rules
Storage essential to a service you request, such as maintaining a basket or securing a checkout session, can qualify for a narrowly defined exception to consent requirements. Describing a technology as useful to a business does not make it strictly necessary for the customer.
Advertising-related storage and access require consent. Certain statistical or appearance-related uses may qualify for an exception only when all applicable conditions are met, including clear information and an easy, free way to object where required. Analytics are not automatically exempt simply because they are labelled analytics.
Choices and consent
Where consent is required, it must relate to the relevant purpose and be a real choice. Continuing to browse, placing an order or accepting sales terms is not by itself consent to optional tracking. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. A policy document alone does not grant permission to use a technology.
Use any privacy choices presented with the relevant feature to accept, reject or change optional use. Contact support@boostexltd.shop if you cannot find a control or want to object to a particular use. Browser controls are an additional tool and do not replace the website's obligations to provide appropriate consent or objection controls.
Browser settings
Your browser's privacy or site-settings menu can let you inspect, delete or block stored information. Blocking all storage may affect shopping, sign-in or payment functionality. Deleting stored preferences, using another browser or changing device can mean that a previous choice is no longer available on that device.
An email-marketing preference is separate from device storage. To withdraw an email-marketing permission or object to direct marketing, contact us; changing browser cookies alone may not update that preference.
Providers and other websites
Shopify publishes information about its platform's privacy and cookie practices in its privacy information. The payment option selected at checkout can have its own privacy information. A platform's general documentation is not a list of every technology used by an individual store.
Links to BoostexLtd on Etsy lead to a separate platform with its own controls. Choices here do not automatically apply to Etsy.
Questions and changes
If you have a question about a particular cookie or technology, send its name if available, the page involved and your browser type. Avoid sending unrelated browsing history. You may also ask about the purpose, provider, duration and handling of associated information.
We update this policy when relevant practices change. Any new use must meet applicable consent, transparency or objection requirements. For personal-information rights and the ICO complaint route, use the Privacy Policy.
